Every year Metro Vancouver opens our protected, pristine watersheds for pre-registered tours. Our three beautiful watersheds, Capilano, Seymour and Coquitlam contribute greatly to the place we call home; clean water, fresh air, vast forests. Tours are offered Thursday to Sunday from July to September.</p><p>Coquitlam tours run Thursdays and Saturdays <br>Capilano tours run Fridays and Sundays <br>Special tours for families are available at the LSCR on some weekends </p><p>A key part of maintaining our water supply is to provide opportunities for citizen engagement. These tours create trust and confidence in our public water supply and allow the sharing of ideas; part of Metro Vancouver's approach to promoting the sustainable use of water. Our watersheds have both alpine and forested areas which include old growth trees. They are also home to wildlife; owls, black tailed deer and black bears.
