  • Food Concessionaire

    Waste Reduction Initiative

Country Celebration is striving to become a Zero Waste event and a leader in waste reduction. Our success is dependent on concessionaire cooperation and participation. We will support concessionaires in any way feasible, including providing information on composting and recycling, a supplier list for recyclable or biodegradable content products, and on-site recycling and composting containers.

As part of Metro Vancouver’s Tap Water Campaign, we will again be providing complimentary tap water for drinking. Sale of bottled water will not be allowed.

Metro Vancouver is offering a reduction in the commission percentage as incentive to aid the transition of food concessionaires towards Zero Waste.

For more information on how to participate in the Zero Waste program, review the food concessionaire application or contact:

Have fun with clay as you paint and fire your own Raku pottery.

    Nylon Zoo
The Nylon Zoo is a choreographed participatory event - you are the dancers and performers! Fly like a bird, hop like a frog or rabbit, twirl in a rainbow cape, swim like a fish. It's an interactive story event as children and parents enter the giant inflatable storytelling theatre.

    Pony Rides
Kids can clippity clop their way around Campbell Valley's scenic grasslands for $5 cash per ride.

    Sheep Herding Demonstrations
Watch expert sheep herder Tim Ballard demonstrate herding with his Border Collies several times throughout the day. Check the onsite event schedule for times.

    Fraser Valley Poultry Fanciers
Come by and see ducks, and chickens at the grey barn.
    Northern Spotted Owl Breeding Program
The Northern Spotted Owl is one of Canada's most endangered species, with fewer than 20 individuals remaining in British Columbia. Stop by to see Forrest the Barred Owl, and find out how you can help keep owls in the wild.
